Peter SbarskiVP of Engineering at A Cloud Guru - AWS Community Hero
Peter Sbarski is VP of Engineering at A Cloud Guru and the organizer of Serverlessconf, the world’s first conference dedicated entirely to serverless architectures and technologies. His work at A Cloud Guru allows him to work with, talk and write about serverless architectures, cloud computing, and AWS. He has written a book called Serverless Architectures on AWS and is currently collaborating on another book called Serverless Design Patterns with Tim Wagner and Yochay Kiriaty.
Peter is always happy to talk about cloud computing and AWS, and can be found at conferences and meetups throughout the year. He helps to organize Serverless Meetups in Melbourne and Sydney in Australia, and is always keen to share his experience working on interesting and innovative cloud projects.
Peter’s passions include serverless technologies, event-driven programming, back end architecture, microservices, and orchestration of systems. Peter holds a PhD in Computer Science from Monash University, Australia.

Born in Wellington, and now based in San Francisco, Josh spends his days playing with Post Its and drinking hipster coffee. While Travis CI is headquartered in Berlin, the team is highly distributed, just like its infrastructure. A Ruby developer at heart, Josh has done a little bit of everything, from coding to marketing to talking about himself in the third person, but at the end of the day, is mind is buzzing with everything related to user onboarding, pricing, and product.

Vinu Charanya is a Senior Software Engineer on the Cloud Infrastructure Management team at Twitter. In her 3+ years at Twitter, she has lead various projects such as Chargeback, Resource Provisioning, Identity Manager, Kite - Lifecycle Manager. She and her team focus on simplifying provisioning of platform resources while at the same time ensure efficient utilization of resources within Twitter.
She has presented at numerous technical conferences and is a regular speaker at community events. Vinu received her Masters in Computer Science and Engineering from University at Buffalo where she worked as a Research Assistant on Phone lab -- a large scale distributed smartphone testbed project.

He is currently director co-founder Blockchainlabs.nz and the President of the Blockchain Association of New Zealand. He has been Blockchain trainer at Tech Futures Lab and was part of the SingularityU New Zealand local faculty training.
Davey CheneyStaff engineer at Heptio
David is a Staff Engineer at Heptio, a Seattle based company focused on helping developers become more productive using Kubernetes. Before to joining Heptio he worked at Atlassian, Canonical, and the Australian Government, in a variety of cloud infrastructure roles. Prior to these roles he had a long career in the operations and system administration space for Australian startups RedBubble, MailGuard, and Aconex.
He is an open source contributor and project member for the Go programming language. David is a well-respected voice within the tech community, speaking on a variety of topics such as software design, performance, and the Go programming language. He lives in Sydney, Australia and is damn proud of it!
